We are in the first block north of Fullerton (2400 north) on Lincoln Avenue. We are just north of the intersection where Lincoln (an angle street) meets the abovementioned Fullerton and Halsted (800 west).
Study This Photo at Citisoft if you need visual clues.
Public TransportationIf you are taking the CTA, get off at the Fullerton stop on the Red line. Walk east (the street addresses will get smaller) to the first traffic light. Take a sharp left on Lincoln, you are almost here.
Need more help? use the famous Subway Navigator.
By CarIf you must drive an automobile (always a bad idea), stop by the bar to buy a $2 parking pass for a lot a few blocks away.
If you are coming from out of town, there is a Fullerton exit on I-90. You will want to go east (the street addresses will get smaller as you travel east) on Fullerton for a couple of miles until you get to Lincoln.
If you'd like to see a map, let the kind folks at MapsOnUs build one for you.
Dress norms, Age RestrictionsYou must be at least 21 years old, or in the company of your parent or legal guardian to enter. You will be asked to show proof of age, even if you have been here a thousand times.
Our atmosphere is casual, there is no dress-code. It's prudent to wear uh, let's say, not your Sunday-Go-To-Meetin' outfit.
Booking Your Band at Lounge AxIf your fine rock band would like to play at the coolest rock club on the planet, send a package to the above address. Mark it "Attention:Susan". Your package must include:
We cannot stress enough that the only really important thing is your music. No-one has ever been booked because their boyfriend works for a design firm or their niece sewed their promo package into a pillow shaped like a guitar. If you have an URL that's great, we'll add a link after you get a show, but we don't do internet auditions.
- a tape or cd. The quality is not important. It needn't be lengthy.
- a photo. Again, it need not be a fancy professional photo.
- Contact information. Your mailing address and your phone number.
Thanks for your interest in our fine rock club. We'll see you at the show.
